Ingredients

The six ingredients in Ugadi pachadi that correspond to taste and emotions are as follows:

  • Tamarind: sour flavor; bad taste
  • Sweet taste, happiness, or jaggery
  • Unripe mango: surprise, tangy, astringent
  • Neem flowers: bitter, depressing.
  • Black pepper is hot, sour, and arousing.
  • Fear, salt, and sour

Preparation Process:

  • In a bowl, combine the tamarind pulp that has been squeezed out of the tamarind after it has been soaked in water for 40 to 1 hour.
  • Then, pour 1/3 cup of water into the bowl with the tamarind extract or pulp.
  • Chopped jaggery should be added.
  • Jaggery will dissolve if you stir it together thoroughly with a spoon.
  • Then include the neem flowers and finely chopped raw mangoes.
  • Mix thoroughly before adding salt and black pepper powder.
  • Give ugadi pachadi to your gods as naivedyam. the rest of your family, then.
