Ugadi Pachadi
Ingredients
The six ingredients in Ugadi pachadi that correspond to taste and emotions are as follows:
- Tamarind: sour flavor; bad taste
- Sweet taste, happiness, or jaggery
- Unripe mango: surprise, tangy, astringent
- Neem flowers: bitter, depressing.
- Black pepper is hot, sour, and arousing.
- Fear, salt, and sour
Preparation Process:
- In a bowl, combine the tamarind pulp that has been squeezed out of the tamarind after it has been soaked in water for 40 to 1 hour.
- Then, pour 1/3 cup of water into the bowl with the tamarind extract or pulp.
- Chopped jaggery should be added.
- Jaggery will dissolve if you stir it together thoroughly with a spoon.
- Then include the neem flowers and finely chopped raw mangoes.
- Mix thoroughly before adding salt and black pepper powder.
- Give ugadi pachadi to your gods as naivedyam. the rest of your family, then.
