Maharashtra Mandal Chicago (MMC) is a non-profit organization serving the local community since 1969. It is the first Maharashtra Mandal formed in North America. It is also the founder of Brihan Maharashtra Mandal. The most amazing tradition it has kept up is the annual hosting of a full-fledged 3-hour Marathi drama. The main objective of Maharashtra Mandal, Chicago is to provide cultural support to all Maharashtrian people now in the USA, with roots in Maharashtra. Another major activity of Maharashtra Mandal, Chicago is to help in bringing together Marathi speaking Indian community.
Maharashtra Sneha Mandal of Indiana (MSMI) is a non-profit, social, and cultural organization. MSMI was founded in 1990 in the Indiana area. The main objective of this non-profit tax-exempt organization is to retain the culture of the state of Maharashtra and pass it on to the next generation. The Tri-State Telugu Association is an organization based in Illinois, USA, that aims to promote and preserve Telugu language, culture, and heritage. The organization provides a platform for Telugu-speaking people to connect with each other through cultural events, social gatherings, and other activities. NEMM is a non profit organization. We are one big family of Maharashtrians living in the New England area, not literally but you get the idea! We are proud to inherit and preserve Maharashtrian culture through various activities throughout the year. Over the years, we have provided many splendid programs and entertained good size crowds on the occasion of Marathi festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Gudhi Padwa and Sankranti.
MMTB was established in 2001 by a group of enthusiastic Marathi lovers from the Greater Tampa Bay area with the objective of providing an interface for cultural exchange and integrating the Maharashtrian community with American people while preserving our unique culture. Completing 16 years in 2017, MMTB Inc is now registered, as a non-profit organization with the State of Florida.
