Aparupa is a prominent Odissi dancer and instructor in the United States. She received her training in Srjan, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra nrityabasa, under the guidance of Gurus Ratikant and Sujata Mohapatra. Aparupa has been teaching Odissi dance in the US since 2007 and currently serves as the artistic director of the Odissi Dance Company. She also offers regular online dance classes.
