The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine is one of the newest medical colleges in the United States and the only one with a mission focused on healthcare in the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. Burrell College is a private and free-standing college located on the campus of New Mexico State University (NMSU). Although the college is not a part of NMSU, it is closely affiliated with the state university and our students enjoy the student life and campus community benefits that come with a major public research university.
In a unique public-private partnership, Burrell students have access to all university facilities and services, such as athletics, intramural sports, student clubs and organizations and student health, counseling and learning resources. Students can also utilize NMSU’s housing and meal services, at an additional cost. The college’s 80,000 square foot newly constructed building is located at the Arrowhead Research Park on the NMSU campus, adjacent to the football stadium.
