Detailed Information

The foundation stone of this grand medical institution was laid by the Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, in 1906, during his second visit to India for his Coronation Durbar as King Emperor. His Majesty gave his consent to establish the institution and to designate it by his name. Since then, the institution has been dedicated to excellent medical education, unparalleled medical ethics, groundbreaking research, and exceptional patient care.
