The building and grounds took some seven years from initial planning to finish. There were some 5 years of planning and discussions within the Sangat and wider Luton community and the local authorities. The new building has many eco/ green features that ensure the building has a low carbon footprint and can be used by the wider community. The Gurdwara Sahib is a very welcome and pleasing feature of the Luton skyline.
