The college was established in 1959 and was Rajasthan’s second Medical college. It was inaugurated by the former Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
It is considered to be the best medical college in Rajasthan in terms of its academic performance and excellence.It has been producing successful doctors and specialists in its 50 years of existence.
