On the occasion of the 29th Death Anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr. Marri Channa Reddy, a series of meaningful community service programs were organized at the Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Rock Garden, Indira Park, Hyderabad. The day brought together donors, doctors, volunteers, NGOs, and childrenâreflecting the spirit of compassion and public service that defined Dr. Channa Reddyâs life.
The commemoration featured three major initiatives:

The day began with a serene bhajan program at 9:00 AM, followed by floral tributes at 10:00 AM at Dr. Channa Reddyâs samadhi, setting a tone of peace, gratitude, and service.
𩸠Blood Donation Camp: A Lifeline of Hope
The Dr. M. Channa Reddy Memorial Trust, in collaboration with Aarohi Blood Bank and the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society Blood Bank, organized a high-impact blood donation drive.
An inspiring 150 donors participated, contributing to a cause that is especially vital for children with Thalassemia, who require blood transfusions every 2â3 weeks for survival.
The camp was coordinated by Mr. Krishna Reddy, with active participation from family members, followers of Dr. Channa Reddy, and volunteers from:

- AV College NCC & NSS
- OBD
- Rajmata Foundation
- ASWA
- Janma Foundation
- Yuva Seva
- Youth For Seva
- STASS
- Asya Foundation
- And enthusiastic public participants
Their collective support transformed the event into a powerful expression of community solidarity.






đż Free Health & Cancer Screening Camp: Caring for Community Well-being
A comprehensive Free Health & Cancer Screening Camp was conducted by the CSR Memorial Foundation, in partnership with the Lions Club of Hyderabad Prerana and MNJ Cancer Hospital, benefiting nearly 250 people.
Services offered included:
- Consultations: General Physicians, Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Dental & Eye Specialists
- Diagnostic services: ECG, BP, Sugar tests
- Alternative Medicine guidance
Special focus was placed on cancer awareness through:
- Breast Cancer Screening (Mammography)
- Cervical Cancer Screening (Pap Smear)
These were supported by Ankur Hospital, RenovaâNIGL Hospitals, and Lions Eye Hospital Balanagar.
The initiative helped promote preventive healthcare and the critical importance of early detection.






đ¨ Art & Painting Session: Creativity as a Tribute
In a touching tribute to Dr. Channa Reddy, a lively Art & Painting Session for children was held by APSA Foundation with support from CSR Memorial Foundation.
Around 40 children participated with great enthusiasm, guided by the APSA âAtharapuâ team and Shri Krishna Reddy garu.
Their colorful expressions celebrated creativity, learning, and the inspirational legacy of a leader who deeply valued youth development and education.
