Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) has taken a significant step towards global professional education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global FTI on 24 January 2026. This strategic collaboration integrates the globally recognised ACCA (UK) qualification with SSSIHL’s B.Com. (Hons.) and B.Com. (Hons. with Research) programmes.
The MoU was formally exchanged between Prof. B. Raghavendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor, SSSIHL, and Ms. Soumya Nambiar, Managing Director, Global FTI, in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.
A Global Pathway for Commerce Students
This collaboration is designed to offer students a seamless and value-driven pathway to international professional certification in accounting and finance. Through this integration, students enrolled in the eligible B.Com programmes will receive:
- Exemptions for 9 out of ACCA’s 13 papers
- Curriculum alignment with IFRS and Ind-AS standards
- Waiver of ACCA exemption and subscription fees
- Access to internships and industry exposure
- Professional ethics and employability training
By combining academic rigor with professional relevance, the programme significantly reduces both the time and cost required to earn a globally respected qualification.
