Chicken Shorba
Ingredients:
- Chicken: 1 kg
- Onions : 2 big onions (chopped)
- Cloves : 6
- Cinnamon stick : 4
- Elaichi : 6
- Shah jeera : 1 spoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 spoon
- Coriander leaves ;to garnish
- Garam masala powder: 1 spoon
- Oil: 4 tablespoons
- Tomato : 2
- Water: required

- Curd/yogurt: 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 table spoon
- Red chilli powder: 2½ table spoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 spoon
- Coriander powder: 2 spoons
- Salt: 2 table spoon
- Oil: 2 bigspoons
- Garam masala powder :
- Cloves : 5
- Cinnamon stick 4
- Elaichi 5
- Shah jeera 1 spoon
Preparation:
- First part is marinated chicken
- Procedure for marinated chicken, in a bowl combine the yogurt, redchilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, , turmeric powder,oil until well mixed. Then put chicken and apply this marinated.
- In a pressure cooker heat the oil on a medium flame,and add cinnamon stick,shah jeera,elachi fry 2 mints and add onions pieces fry the onions till golden brown,add the marinated chicken and add some of water,coriander leaves, close the lid of the pressure cooker and let it cook for about 1 whistles and then off the gas.
- Let the pressure escape from the cooker and then open it.
- Add tomato pieces and garam masala powder cook for 15 minits turn off the gas.garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve chicken shorba hot with roti or rice
