A Consul is an official representative of one state’s government in the region of another, regularly acting to help and protect residents of the consul’s own nation, as well as to facilitate trade and kinship between individuals of the two nations.

A consulate organizes business, information, education, and exchange facilities to develop business partners and potential customers for the respective companies, and encourage academic, scientific, and artistic exchanges.
