The ISKCON Los Angeles Temple temple was established by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in 1970 and acts as the Western World Headquarters. ISKCON Los Angeles is the home of their Lordships Sri Sri Rukmini Dvarakadish. Since its inception, ISKCON Los Angeles has been a fixture in the greater Los Angeles community. Next to the temple are the cafe, gift store, and Bhagavad Gita Museum, also known as the First American Transcendental Exhibition (FATE), featuring dioramas based on the teachings of Bhagavad Gita.
