Andy has dedicated the last 18 years of his life to the study of the sitar and Hindustani classical music, receiving guidance from some of the world’s most eminent musicians, including Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Roshan Jamal Bhartiya, and Ustad Shujaat Khan. His musical journey has taken him to various public and private stages across the United States, Canada, and India. In addition to his expertise in Hindustani classical music, Andy also holds a Bachelor of Music in viola performance from the University of Colorado, as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from UCLA.
