Siddhachalam, located in rural north-western New Jersey, is a Jain ashram managed by the International Mahavira Jain Mission. Founded in 1983 by Jain saint Acharya Sushil Kumarji, it is considered a Tirth and serves as the only Jain pilgrimage place outside of India. The ashram encompasses 120 acres of hilly terrain and features three temples, a library, meditation trails, and a wildlife sanctuary. Siddhachalam upholds Jain principles of non-violence and truth, welcoming Jains from all sects and honoring important events. One of the trails holds special significance as Guruji’s tapasya sthal, where he practiced austerity.
