Gujarati Samaj of ACT Inc.(GSA) was initially formed with the support of HTCC, specifically for the Navaratri celebrations in 1999. GSA’s main activity was organizing community celebrations for the Navaratri festival. Due to the assistance from the HTCC, GSA has been able to organise nine days of Garba every year, since 1999 in Canberra. Canberra has become the only place in Australia (and a global rarity outside of India), where the community celebrates all nine nights of garba for over 20 years. Gujarati Samaj of ACT Inc.
