The Singapore Malayalee Association (SMA) was founded in 1917, with the mission of bringing together all Malayalees in Singapore. The objectives of SMA are: To integrate Malayalees in Singapore into a cohesive community; o promote the interests and development of the Malayalee community in Singapore; To engage the Malayalee community in activities spanning cultural, educational, professional, social, sporting, welfare and recreational arenas; To preserve and propagate Malayalee heritage and culture.
