The Singapore Tamilian Association is a non-profit Association registered in 1950 under the Societies Ordinance. After Singapore’s Independence, the Societies Ordinance was repealed and in 1967, the new Societies Act was enacted. Singapore Tamilian Association is registered under the Registry of Societies and governed by the Registry of Societies Act Chapter 311.
