Valley Bengali Community (VBC), established in 1987, is a socio-cultural organization promoting Bengali and Indian culture in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles area. It was started by a small group of people who wanted to preserve the rich art, literature and culture of West Bengal, India, situated thousands of miles away from their adopted home in the US. Over the last thirty years even though technology and communication have advanced significantly, VBC has managed to stay relevant in the heart of every Bengali living in the area.
