Ramgarhia Board Northampton Sikh Gurdwara and Community Centre was established in 1972 with families gathering at their respective homes on a weekly basis.
In time, a terraced property was purchased with money raised entirely by contributions and all renovations were carried out by the Sangat. Regular gatherings were held for many years but in time it soon became clear that a new building would be required to hold larger functions. A property in Craven Street was found that would meet the needs of the growing Sangat. The opening ceremony in 1987 was performed by Bhai Sahib Bhai Naurang Singh Ji from the Nishkam Sewak Jatha.
