Dry Fruit Raisins

Raisins are dried grapes. They can be made from different types of grapes, but the most common varieties used are Thompson seedless, Sultana and Muscat. They are typically small, wrinkled and sweet. They have a chewy texture and are often used in baking, cooking, and as a snack. They are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, including potassium, iron, and B vitamins. Furthermore, they are a good source of dietary fibre.  Due to their concentrated sweetness, they are also used as a natural sweetener in some recipes. They are often used in many cuisines like Indian and Mediterranean.
