Amarnath Yatra 2025
India
Description
The Amarnath Yatra 2025 is scheduled to begin on July 3, 2025, and conclude on August 9, 2025, spanning 38 days of spiritual journey through the majestic Himalayas to the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
Organized by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), this annual pilgrimage attracts thousands of devotees seeking blessings from the naturally formed ice Shivling, a revered symbol of Lord Shiva.
Pilgrims can undertake the yatra via two main routes: the traditional Pahalgam route (46 km) and the shorter, steeper Baltal route (14 km). Registration is mandatory, along with a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) and a valid Yatra Permit. Helicopter services will also be available for select segments, based on weather and availability.
Comprehensive safety measures, including medical camps, RFID tracking, and dedicated rescue teams, will be in place to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience.
Whether you seek spiritual renewal, natural beauty, or inner peace — the Amarnath Yatra offers a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the sacred heart of the Himalayas.
