Thaipoosam, a significant Hindu Tamil festival, This sacred day marks the first full moon of the Thai month, coinciding with the Pusam star. Thaipoosam honors Lord Murugan’s triumph over the demon Surapadman, a victory achieved with the divine vel—a sacred spear bestowed by his mother, Goddess Parvati.
To commemorate this auspicious occasion, a Subrahmanya Abhishekam and Archana will be conducted from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Devotees can participate and seek Lord Murugan’s blessings.
