Eye disorders

There are  different types of eye conditions that  affect vision and overall eye health. Here are some examples:

Refractive Error: Refractive error occurs when the shape of the eye prevents light from being properly focused on the retina, blurring vision. Common refractive errors include nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (farsightedness), and astigmatism.

Cataract: Cataract is the clouding of the  lens of the eye, which can cause blurred vision, hypersensitivity to light, and impaired vision at night. It is a series of eye diseases that can  lead to: Often associated with increased intraocular pressure.

Macular Degeneration: Macular degeneration is a disease that affects the macula, the part of the eye responsible for sharp central vision. There are two forms of him that can cause vision loss: dry and wet.

Diabetic Retinopathy: Diabetic retinopathy is a complication of diabetes that can damage the blood vessels in the retina and cause vision loss.

Conjunctivitis: Conjunctivitis, also called pink eye, is an inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva. The conjunctiva is a thin membrane that lines the white  of the eye and the  eyelids.

Strabismus: A squint is a condition in which the eyes are  not looking in the same direction. It can cause double vision and can also lead to amblyopia (lazy eye) if left untreated.

These are just a few  of the many eye conditions that  affect vision and eye health. It is important to have regular eye exams to detect and treat  problems early..
