Insomnia is a common sleep disorder  caused by a variety of factors, including stress, anxiety, and irregular sleep schedules. Here are some Indian home remedies that can help ease insomnia.

warm milk:Warm milk contains the amino acid tryptophan, which promotes sleep. Warm a glass of milk and drink it before bedtime.

Chamomile tea:Chamomile tea has natural calming properties that  promote relaxation and sleep. Soak a chamomile tea bag in warm water and drink  before bed.

Ashwagandha:Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that helps reduce stress and anxiety that can contribute to insomnia.Take 1-2 teaspoons of ashwagandha powder with warm milk before bed.

lavender:Lavender has natural calming properties that  promote relaxation and sleep. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your diffuser and  diffuse in your bedroom before bed.

Valerian Root:Valerian Root is a natural sedative that promotes relaxation and sleep. Take 300-900mg of valerian root extract before bed.Note that if your insomnia is severe, or if it lasts longer than a few weeks, you should see a doctor. These home remedies can help with mild  insomnia, but  should not be used as a substitute for  treatment.
