Boil fresh tulsi leaves  in water to make a hot drink.Licorice root has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that help soothe a sore throat and reduce inflammation.

Boil a few pieces of licorice root in water to make a tea and drink it warm. Call your doctor if your sore throat is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty swallowing. These home remedies can help with a sore throat, but they do not replace treatment.
