Indian NRI Telugu Cultural Associations​ in US

Indian NRI Telugu Cultural Associations are organizations formed by Telugu-speaking Indians living in the US to promote Telugu language, culture, and traditions. These associations organize cultural events throughout the year and provide a platform for Telugu-speaking Indians to connect with each other. They also undertake charitable activities such as fundraising for disaster relief efforts in India or providing scholarships to Telugu students in the US. Some of the prominent Telugu cultural associations in the US include the American Telugu Association, the Telugu Association of North America, and the Telugu Association of Southern California. Overall, these associations play an important role in preserving and promoting Telugu culture among the Indian diaspora in the United States.

The Greater Indianapolis Telugu Association (GITA) is a group of Telugu-speaking individuals and families who reside in or near Indianapolis, Indiana, in the United States. The organization aims to promote Telugu language and culture by organizing cultural events, social gatherings, and other activities. GITA may also provide resources and support to new Telugu-speaking residents in the area.

The Telugu Fine Arts Society is an organization based in New Jersey, USA that aims to promote and preserve the Telugu language, culture, and arts among the Telugu-speaking community and beyond. The organization provides a platform for artists, musicians, and performers to showcase their talents through various cultural programs and events throughout the year. 

The Tri-State Telugu Association is an organization based in Illinois, USA, that aims to promote and preserve Telugu language, culture, and heritage. The organization provides a platform for Telugu-speaking people to connect with each other through cultural events, social gatherings, and other activities. The Tri-State Telugu Association may also offer educational and outreach programs to promote Telugu language and culture. 

Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) was formed in 1981. Over the years it has grown and has become an integral part of Telugu Community in Metro Atlanta and an active participant of Indian community events like ‘Festival of India’ held to commemorate India’s Independence Day. Usually the events have competitions for children of all ages called KidsFest, a social hour to interact with other members of the community and a cultural program followed by dinner. 

 

Telugu Association of South Florida is a non-profit organization devoted to the awareness and promotion of Telugu culture in the South Florida Area. TASF was formed in 1997 and over the years it has grown and has become an integral part of the Telugu Community in South Florida. To promote Telugu Culture while addressing social, educational, financial, medical, and immigration needs and concerns of Telugu people living in and around South Florida.

 

 

The Washington Telugu Samithi (WATS) is a non-profit organization that represents the Telugu-speaking community in the state of Washington, USA. The organization was established in 1987 and is dedicated to promoting and preserving Telugu language, culture, and traditions among the Telugu community in Washington. WATS organizes various cultural, social, and educational programs throughout the year, such as festivals, picnics, sports events, seminars, and workshops. These events provide opportunities for the Telugu community to come together, celebrate their culture, and engage in various social and cultural activities.
