Also known as ‘Wazwan’, Kashmiri weddings are known for their rich cultural heritage, elaborate traditions and glamorous celebrations. Wazwan:This is a traditional Kashmiri feast served during a wedding ceremony and usually includes up to 36 dishes.Dougee fabric:Before the groom enters the wedding hall, the bride’s brother washes the groom’s feet. dolly:It is the moment when the bride leaves her family home and starts a new life with her husband. Kashmiri weddings are known for their colorful and elaborate costumes. The bride wears a traditional embroidered phelan and headpiece, while the groom wears a traditional  phelan and groom’s turban.
