National emblem

The National emblem of India is perceived from the Lion Capital of Ashoka at Sarnath on the 26th of January 1950, the day when India became a Republic. The motto is “Satyameva Jayate,” which is engraved in the Devanagiri script. The motto stands for a quote taken from the Mundaka Upanishad, the concluding part of the Hindu Vedas.

The National Emblem exemplifies power, courage, and confidence, and at its core is a horse   and a bull with a beautiful wheel Dharma chakra in the centre
