Ornish Diet

The Ornish Diet is a low-fat vegetarian diet  developed by Dr. Ornish. Dean Ornish was developed. This diet is based on a whole food, plant-based approach and is said to improve heart health by lowering cholesterol and blood pressure levels. The diet emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and soy products, and limits or eliminates foods high in saturated and trans fats, such as animal products, fried foods, and processed foods. The Ornish diet also emphasizes stress reduction techniques such as yoga and meditation, and encourages regular exercise. This diet has been shown to be effective in reducing the risk of heart disease and improving overall health.
