In order to enter any foreign country, a Visa is a mandatory document. It is usually glued or stamped into one’s passport. Different countries give different rights for the bearer in the host country.
Types of Visas
Travel Visa: This Visa is issued to individuals who go to foreign countries for touristic purposes. With this Visa, they could stay in the foreign country for a predetermined time. No business activities or work can be done in a foreign country with this visa.
Work Visa: People who wish to work abroad or do any business in a foreign country then he/she should be possessing a Work Visa.
Student Visa: Students who are to enroll at a University in a foreign country need to get a student visa. This is a non-immigrant type of visa. Foreign exchange students obtain this visa for temporary residence.
Refugee Visa: for the individuals fleeing persecution, war, natural disasters, and other situations, these Refugee visas are granted.
Spousal Visa: These are granted for couples who do not stay in the same country.
E-Visa: It is an electronic visa that is stored in the database instead of getting glued or stamped on the passport document. It is generally linked with the passport number.
Immigrant & Non-immigrant Visa: These are the two types of travel visas. The immigrant visas allow the individuals to reside in the foreign country permanently whereas the non-immigrant visas allow the individuals to stay for a specific period of time.
