Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2023

January 2023 will see the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas in Indore. The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas holiday is celebrated on January 9 each year to recognize the contribution of the Indian diaspora to India’s development. Importance of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is significant because it not only reconnects NRIs with their heritage but also recognizes their accomplishments. It acknowledges the difficulties faced by Indian expatriate workers who live and work abroad. The event provides a platform for establishing an international network of NRIs and bridging the gap between immigrants and today’s youth. This will help the immigrants and allow them to develop and significantly advance the country. PBD conventions aid in the growth of an international network of NRIs.

Theme of Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2023

Contributing to Aatmanirbhar Bharat was the theme of the 2021 Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. The 16th PBD was held on January 9, 2021, which was essentially last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Inaugural, the Plenary, and the Valedictory were the three segments of the PBD Convention.

The keynote address at the PBD Convention, which was inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon. Prime Minister of India, was given by Mr. Chandrikapersad Santokhi, the Hon. President of the Republic of Suriname.

The fifteen winners of the online Bharat ko Janiye Quiz for kids were also revealed during the first session. The event was live broadcast to every Indian Mission and Post abroad. The topic for Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2023 is still a secret.
