Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards 2010

This year’s Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention will be held in New Delhi. PBD 2010 will also see the launch of an annual lecture series themed ‘India and its Diaspora: Everlasting Bonds of Togetherness’. Pravasi Bharatiyas attended in large numbers.
The 16th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention was entirely run online on January 9, 2021, due to the ongoing Covid pandemic.
The first Pravasi Bharatiya Divas was held in New Delhi in 2003.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Conventions have been held annually since 2003, and the PBSA is the highest honor given to Indians living abroad.
It is given to non-resident Indians (NRIs), people of Indian origin (PIOs), or organizations or institutions founded and managed by NRIs or PIOs in honor of their exceptional accomplishments both domestically and internationally.
A gold medallion, a citation, a small version of the medallion in the form of a lapel pin, and a bilingual Sanad (certificate) are all included in the award.
