King Krishna devaraya’s court advisor Tenali Rama was a Telugu poet and advisor. Among the sri krishnadevaraya realm’s most intelligent men is Tenali Rama Krishna. Because of his witty and humorous stories, he was also known as the court jester. According to tradition he was a court- lyricist, or Ashtadiggajas, one of the eight elephants of Telugu poetry, and law court-jester of Krishna devaraya of the Vijayanagara kingdom.
