Tomato Charu

Ingredients:

  • Tomato :1 kg
  • Red chillis : 8
  • Garlic : 2 tablespoons
  • Curry leaves: ½ bunch
  • Water : 1 cup
  • Sugar : ½ spoon
  • Salt : 1 spoon
  • Ghee : 2 tablespoons
  • Jeera : 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric : ¼ spoon
  • Coriander leaves :to garnish

Preparation:

In a pressure cooker take tomato pieces add 1 cup of water close the lid of the pressure  cooker and let it cook for about 1 whistles and then off the gas.Boiled tomato’s grind them to paste.

Heat ghee in a pan and add jeera,red chilli,garlic,curry leaves,coriander,turmeric cook for 2 minutes and add tomato paste,salt,and sugar cook for 15 minutes turn off the gas. garnish with coriander leaves.
