Tomato Charu

Ingredients:

  • Tomato :1kg
  • Red chillis:8
  • Garlic: 2tablespoons
  • Curry leaves: ½bunch
  • Water: 1cup
  • Sugar: ½spoon
  • Salt: 1spoon
  • Ghee: 2tablespoons
  • Jeera: 1tablespoon
  • Turmeric: ¼ spoon
  • Coriander leaves :to garnish

Preparation:

  • In a presser cooker take tomato pieces add 1 cup of water close the lid of the pressure cooker and let it cook for about 1 whistles and then off the gas.
  • Boiled tomato’s grind them to paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add jeera,red chilli,garlic,curry leaves,coriander,turmeric cook for 2minitues and add tomato paste,salt,and suger cook for 15 minits turn off the gas.garnish with coriander leaves.
