Description
Rama Navami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, an important deity in Hinduism. Lord Rama is considered the seventh avatar (incarnation) of Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. Devotees often observe a day-long fast on Rama Navami and spend the day in prayer and meditation. They visit temples dedicated to Lord Rama and participate in special prayers and bhajans (devotional songs) that recount the life and deeds of Lord Rama.
